I think graphic designers should not cross out human beings. When I was a child I was told not to point on persons, neither with the finger, nor with a toy weapon. Later they added that this rule would include real weapons, too. For my opinion crossing out human beings is a similar matter that has to do with respecting a person’s integrity. I do not want to be crossed out. Anyway, nice exemples of crossed out humans are welcome.

My friend Oliver Oppitz was the official photographer of Bolzano Festival in 2010. This year I had the pleasure to support the initial /conceptual phase of his exhibition »play« about the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. The exhibition took place in the garden pavillon of Hotel Laurin in Bolzano.

After six years in the South Tyrolean capital Bolzano I will return to Germany soon. I just fixed a contract to do user interface concepts and corporate communication in Munich from september. I look forward to meeting nice people there as I did already some weeks ago.

“Visualisierung” is rather about non-verbal representations of content – even if there are some words sometimes. It shows a specific part of my work, which often is located inside more complex projects.

Subscription campaign for the german magazine ff in south tirol on the occasion of their 30th anniversary. The words describe its role for the region. The claim »Südtirol abonnieren« (subscribe south tyrol) expresses the approach of the magazine to offer content that represents the entire country.
